| Jeder Citroën ab Baujahr 1980 hat eine 4stellige
Zahl irgendwo aufgemalt. Diese ORGA Nummer gibt Auskunft über den genauen
Produktionstag. Beginnend mit dem 9. November 1976 wurde diese Zahl jeden
Kalendertag um 1 erhöht. Die ORGA Zahl für den 1. Jänner
1980 ist 1149. Es ist somit relativ einfach, mit einem kleinen Programm
den genauen Produktionstag jedes Citroën zu bestimmen, wenn man erst
diese ORGA Zahl gefunden hat. |
Any Citroën built after Jan, 1st 1980 has a 4 digit
number stamped in ink somewhere on the body. This so called ORGA or RP number
is very important when you want to order the correct part for your car.
It started at 0001 on Nov, 9th 1976 and incremented by 1 every day, whether
the factory worked or not that day. The ORGA for Jan 1st, 1980 is 1149.
So it's easy to calculate the day of production once you have found this
number on your car. |

- 2CV und Dyane
- Auf der Spritzwand, rechts oben ihn Fahrtichtung gesehen
- AX
- Auf dem linken Federdom.
- BX
- Auf der linken A-Säule, über dem Tür-Schalter für
die Innenbeleuchtung.
- CX und BX (Serie 1)
- Auf dem linken vorderen Radkasten vor dem Federdom, meistens unter
Kabeln verborgen.
- C4, C5
- Auf der linken A-Säule, über dem Tür-Schalter für
die Innenbeleuchtung.

- GSA
- Auf dem rechten vorderen Innenkotflügel.
- Xantia
- Auf der Spritzwand, vor der rechten Federkugel (quasi unter der Frontscheibe).
Dort findet man den Farbkode und darüber die ORGA Nummer.
- XM
- Auf der A-Säule, vor der Fahrertür.
- Visa/C15
- Auf dem linken Federdom, wenn man vor dem Auto steht und auf den Motor
blickt.
Hilf mir, diese Liste zu erweitern und schreib mir, wo diese Nummer auf
anderen Citroën Modellen zu finden ist.

- On top of the bulkhead (or firewall), right hand side, from the drivers
perscpective,.
- AX
- On top of the left hand side suspension turret.
- BX
- On the Left hand front door pillar, just above the door light switch
and below the wiring tube.
- CX and BX (Series 1)
- On top of the left hand side suspension turret, seen from the drivers
perscpective, usually hidden by wiring.
- C4, C5
- On the Left hand front door pillar, just above the door light switch
and below the wiring tube.
- GSA
- On the inner right front wing.
- Xantia
- It can be found on the bulkhead (firewall) just in front of the right-front-
suspension sphere (quasi below the front window). At that position one
can find the color-code (a letter code) and in smaller characters above
that the ORGA number.
- XM
- It is printed in white ink on the A-post (in front of the front door)
on the drivers side.
- Visa/C15
- It should be on the suspension turret, on the left, standing in front
of the car, facing the engine.
Help me to complete this list and send me information, where to find this
number on other models.

Du brauchst einen javafähigen Browser und mußt Java aktiviert haben.
Achtung:Die Decoder wurden mit Java 1.0.2 und 1.1.4 für OS/2 Warp geschrieben und getestet. Unter manchen 1.1.x Umgebungen rechnet er falsch 8-(. Falls ORGA 1149 nicht den 1.1.1980 ergibt bitte ich um eine Mail mit dem Inhalt der Java Console.

Java programm to calculate the production date.
You need a Java enabled brwoser. Take care that Java is enabled.
Attention:The decoders are written and tested on Java 1.0.2. and 1.1.4 on OS/2 Warp. On some 1.1.x run time environments it produces a wrong result. If ORGA 1149 does not decode to Jan 1st 1980, please send me a message with the content of the Java Console.

| Falls hier zwar der ORGA Dekoder erscheint und
nur eine Fehlermeldung anzeigt oder das Feld grau bleibt, ist Deine Java
Runtime nicht 100% Java konform,. z.B.: MS IE 8-(. Du kannst dann noch diese
minimale 1.02er Version oder die an Netscape
angepaßte 1.1 Version aprobieren. |
If the ORGA decoder does not appear, but shows
only an error message or the window is only grey, your Java Runtime is not
100% Java compatible, like MS IE 8-(. You have one last chance to try the
old 1.02 Version or the 1.1
